Alyssa Awarded Lyman T. Johnson Fellowship

Alyssa, a PhD candidate in the NetRecon Lab has been awarded the prestigious Lyman T. Johnson Fellowship (LTJ) at the University of Kentucky. The LTJ Fellowship provides a $15,000 stipend, a full standard graduate tuition scholarship, and student health plan enrollment. New awards are renewable, with a total number of two years of funding for master’s students, or three years of funding for doctoral students, based on availability of funds and subject to meeting the required criteria.

Corey E. Baker is an Assistant Professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. His research interests are in the area of full stack systems for distributing, protecting, and authenticating data in opportunistic networking scenarios for rural remote patient monitoring, smart cities, and natural disasters to improve the livelihood of people.
