NACME Apple AI-ML Summer Bootcamp Coming to USC

The NACME Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning (AIML) Intensive Summer Bootcamp Camp which is supported by Apple will be hosted at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and School of Advanced Computing from June 3, 2024 to August 2, 2024.

 

The goal of the bootcamp is to provide 15 students with an introduction to computer science content to be qualified for positions as entry-level Machine Learning (ML) Specialists. Specifically, to prepare talent to understand how to apply statistics and ML to solve real-world data science problems.

 

The USC supporting cast is lead by USC’s Center for Engineering Diversity Traci Navarro and Professor Corey Baker. The AIML participants will also collaborate with USC Viterbi SURE students.

Corey Baker

Corey E. Baker is an Assistant Professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. His research interests are in the area of full stack systems for distributing, protecting, and authenticating data in opportunistic networking scenarios for rural remote patient monitoring, smart cities, and natural disasters to improve the livelihood of people.
