Students will stay in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.uky.edu%2Fhousing%2Fresidence-halls%2Fwoodland-glen-ii&data=04%7C01%7CTony.Ramirez%40uky.edu%7Cd604ea18a91e4afa405b08d8f872c47d%7C2b30530b69b64457b818481cb53d42ae%7C0%7C0%7C637532519111822320%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=PPYVE1UR6%2FyvuDQKa01bAoqE%2F4LT8gtUtEkE4%2FaygBw%3D&reserved=0\">Ball Hall<\/a>\u00a0dorms.<\/li>\n<li>Receive travel stipend to cover the arrival and departure costs.<\/li>\n<li>Potentially receive a stipend for participating in the program (pending).<\/li>\n<li>Earn upper-division CS elective course credit for completing the bootcamp. Students will be able to transfer this credit into their respective university\/department, pending their respective university policies and guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Junior Faculty, Postdocs, and Graduate students receive the following<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive salary, $8k \u2013 $12k for teaching during the 8 week bootcamp.<\/li>\n<li>Travel stipend to cover the arrival and departure costs to Lexington, KY.<\/li>\n<li>Interact with other graduate student researchers and faculty.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate student teachers\u00a0are required to relocate to Lexington, KY during\u00a08 weeks of the AMLI program.<\/li>\n<li>Learn the curriculum before your arrival. If selected, the curriculum will be provided to you.<\/li>\n<li>Teach and interact with the AMLI students for\u00a02-3 hours a day, 5 days a week.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize 5-6 hours of the day to collaborate on research with the Network Reconnaissance\u00a0Lab or other labs at UK.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Faculty (Research Advisors) are encouraged<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit a 2 page project proposal related to ML. If your project is selected, 2-4 of the AMLI students will be assigned to your project during the last 4-5 weeks of the program.
